  Save yourself money and aggravation...don't buy this microwave. We did, based on high ratings and good reviews in Consumer Reports and elsewhere, and are now looking for a replacement. From the very first week it cut off mid-heating. Last night it took 30 mins. to reheat 2 average dinner plates of food. It cuts off before food is heated, we wait a few minutes, try again, it cuts off, we wait and try again...ad nauseum. It typically runs for no more than 2 minutes, on any power level, before cutting off...sometimes it runs less than 30 seconds. This has been happening since the first week, every time we use it. Husband put it on its own dedicated line because of the high wattage, to no avail. We've endured this headache for 2 years now. The only two features that seem to work reliably are "Popcorn" and "Inverter Turbo Defrost"...two features we rarely use. The only reason I decided to post this was because we are reading microwave reviews on Amazon, looking to replace this Panasonic, and want to spare others what we've experienced.

  I am an Amazon shopper and love reading reviews before I make a purchase. I bought this microwave for my Mom who really needed one with the turntable. It looks nice and she plugged it in right away as my sister's boyfriend took out the old one and helpped with the new one. My Mom did put little squares of double sided tape under the little legs to prevent it from slipping off the counter.. All and all I think a good price for the item as well as once again Amazon is my favorite shopping place.. Always Excellent service in all areas... I give Amazon 6 stars (their usual is 5)......

  I bought this microwave on Amazon a few months ago and wanted to give it some time before I wrote the review. The price was great for the wattage you get. It is very easy to clean and heats things up quickly and throughout. It's also very simple to use.

  I've had this microwave for a month and a half now. There's nothing special about it, but it works. It's larger than the cheap Emerson it replaced, and it's nice having the extra room inside. It's powerful so it cooks pretty quickly. My only minor complaints are that the light doesn't come on when you open the microwave and it has a push button to open the door instead of a handle. It's odd that the light doesn't come on when the door is open, but it will come on when the microwave is running. The door doesn't have a transparent window (I can see the light is on, but I can't see what's in the microwave), so it seems pointless to have the light at all. The handle thing is just my preference, but I decided on this microwave based on the generally favorable reviews. I'm happy with my decision.

  Very gpod microwave. Would.tell everyone to buy one. If it's panasonic it's good. Amazon has very good customer service. Would buy another one.
